Hello Blue Devil Families!

Thank you for staying connected with us on Parent Square! The next couple of months will be BUSY!!  Once again, here are some upcoming events and CHES news to keep you engaged and informed.

Classroom to Colisseum

SFA Athletics is offering Free Admission to the SFA Home Basketball Game for Saturday, November 14th @ 1pm for all CH students and staff.  Two Free tickets will be send home with every CH student!  

Various CH Student Groups will be showcased at the game including our CHHS Band, CH Little Dribblers, and more!  You may even see your Blue Devil on the Jumbo-Tron in one of some fun videos we've been preparing for the event. 

All CH students who attend are invited to line up in the tunnel to greet and high-five the Lumberjacks before the game! 
 

CHES BOOK FAIR!

Check out our school's book fair homepage for more information. You can also shop online, or set up an electronic wallet (eWallet) for your student.

How does an eWallet work?
The eWallet is now better. When you make an eWallet for a child, it stays in their Scholastic account. They can use the same eWallet at future book fairs.
Families start at the school book fair website. This page is ready three weeks before the fair. You can set up an eWallet for each child here. If your child already has an eWallet from a past fair, sign in to your Scholastic account. You can check the balance and add money.

JOIN OUR CHES PTO FAMILY!

The Halloween Fun Run was a HUGE success!  Students, staff, and families had a great time with perfect weather and our PTO SURPASSED their fundraising goal for this event!  Thank you to everyone who planned, attended, and supported this event! 

Next PTO Meeting: NOVEMBER 17TH 3:45 IN CHES CAFETERIA!

CHES PTO raises money for playground equipment, classroom supply restock, Blue Devil Bash student fun day, books for our vending machine, and student rewards.

Reminder - Transportation Changes

All transportation changes must be submitted to the elementary office before 2:00 PM. Please call 936-552-3424 directly to relay any updates. Avoid sending messages via ParentSquare for same-day changes, as teachers may not be able to check messages during class. Contacting the front office ensures your message is received promptly. Thank you for your cooperation!
 

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Every day in school is a chance to learn, grow, and connect! Regular attendance builds strong learning habits, boosts confidence, and keeps students on track academically.

Quick Reminder: When your child is absent due to illness, please send a doctor's note to the front office as soon as they return so we can mark their absence as excused. Thank you for helping us keep our Blue Devils learning and thriving!
