Tech Smart Families

Technology is a big part of our students’ lives—both at school and at home. This year, I’ll occasionally be sharing Tech Smart Families, a family guide with simple tips and resources to help our PK–5 students become safe, kind, responsible, and confident technology users.

Each edition will include things like online safety tips, digital citizenship skills, conversation starters, parent tech tips, and easy activities you can try at home. My goal is to give families practical information without making technology feel overwhelming.

Our first edition focuses on protecting personal information and staying safe online. I’ve also included a Parents’ Guide to Smartphone Safety with additional tips for families.
