I have been teaching at Central Heights Elementary since 2003, and I am currently teaching 5th grade Science.

After graduating from S.F.A. in 1996, I began my career teaching 5th grade Science at Post Elementary in Houston, Texas for three years. Then moved to East Texas and continued to teach Science, Social Studies, Health and Art at Cushing Middle School, Mike Moses Middle School, and Etoile Middle School. I began teaching at Central Heights in 2003, and decided this is the school that I will call home. Central Heights is an excellent place to teach, I truly enjoy working with the students and their families.

I live in Nacogdoches, Texas with my husband of 16 years, Jory Muckleroy and and my four children: Axel, Haylie, Karlie, and Emory Jane.  We have two dogs Chew and Scruffles. They make me laugh and bring me so  much joy.

I'm looking forward to the laughter and joy your children will bring to my life this year, as well.  I hope I will bring the same to them!
